Services

Five disciplines, one accountable team.

Sample design and fieldwork. Programme evaluation. Independent verification. Diagnostic assessment. Modern data engineering. Held under one roof so clients reach validated decisions without fragmented timelines.

  • Surveys
  • M&E
  • TPM
  • Assessments
  • Data

Every line, the same audit trail.

Whatever the service, the pipeline is the same: peer reviewed sample frames, cognitively tested instruments, supervised collection, back-checks above ten percent and analytical code a successor could rerun.

  • ISO 20252 aligned
  • OECD-DAC
  • IASC

Five service lines.

Each line is delivered by the same senior led team, against the same written quality assurance protocol and the same nine-stage pipeline.

Surveys

National-scale household, facility, population and enterprise surveys delivered in fragile, post-conflict and politically sensitive contexts, from sample frame to tabulation under one accountable team.

We are commissioned when the question is large, the geography is hard, the timeline is tight, or the deliverable will face external scrutiny. Every survey starts at the sample frame and ends at a clean, labelled, reproducible dataset with full documentation, including the security mapping, refusal log and any approved sampling deviations.

Monitoring and Evaluation

Independent baseline, midline, endline and impact evaluations aligned to OECD-DAC, UNEG and major donor evaluation policies, delivered against a written quality assurance protocol.

Methods are selected to fit the question, and mixed-method designs are the default. Analytical decisions are documented, analytical code is shared with clients on request, and reports are structured so an external auditor can trace any finding back to the underlying data.

Third Party Monitoring

Independent verification where access is constrained, implementation is contested, or results will be reported to a board, parliament, donor capital or auditor.

TPM contracts are firewalled from any implementation work in the same theatre. Conflict of interest declarations are signed by every team member at engagement start, and findings flow directly to the contracting client, never to the implementer under monitoring.

Assessments

Needs, baseline, market, feasibility and rapid analyses that scope, justify and adjust programmes and investments, from concept to investment-grade evidence.

Assessments fail when they arrive too late to inform the decision they were commissioned for. We scope every assessment backwards from its intended decision moment and work to that deadline with a design that fits the time available.

Data, Research and Analytics

Modern data engineering and applied analytics for the development sector: collection, cleaning, harmonisation, analytics, registries and durable governance.

The full pipeline under one roof, so clients move from research question to validated data to a documented evidence base without managing fragmented vendors. Hand-over packs are designed so a successor analyst can replicate every result.

Commissioning questions we hear often.

How early should we involve you in a study design?

Ideally at the terms of reference stage. The largest quality gains come from the sample frame and instrument decisions, and both are cheapest to fix before procurement closes. We regularly review draft ToRs without commitment.

Can you field in areas with restricted access?

Yes. Somalia and border regions of the Horn are core operating ground. Designs use security mapping, remote managed enumerator hubs, call-back verification and conflict sensitive sampling rather than dropping hard to reach populations from the frame.

Who owns the data and the analytical code?

The contracting client. Deliverables include the cleaned, labelled dataset, the analytical code, and documentation sufficient for a successor analyst to replicate every result. We retain nothing beyond what the contract's retention clause specifies.

What does senior led actually mean?

A named principal is accountable on every engagement from kick-off through handover, present in field decisions and client calls. Seniority is not a proposal decoration: staffing tables in our bids match the people who deliver.

How do you price engagements?

Against the sampling and logistics reality of the design rather than a day-rate table alone. We provide itemised budgets: fieldwork, supervision, QA and analysis are visible lines a donor reviewer can interrogate.

Not sure which service fits?

Send the question and the decision it needs to inform. We will tell you which line fits, and which does not.
